Among Japanese companies, only Honda (1st place) and EM devices (EMTEPH, 8th place) were selected in the top 10. In addition, EM Devices (EMTEPH) is the top in the  “Engineering, Manufacture” category. It is a great honor for us to be selected along with major global companies such as Google and Microsoft.

EMTEPH, which won the award this time, is a company that manufactures miniature power relays used in automotive application. EMTEPH was established in 1996 (the company name at that time was NEC Components Philippines, Inc.), and since then has produced 200 to 300 million miniature power relays annually.

The management of EMTEPH has held dialogues with employees on everything from the operation of cafeterias and commuter shuttles to internal facilities and events, and company management. In this survey, we were highly evaluated for carefully collecting the opinions of employees. In dialogue with employees, we have also been highly evaluated for clarifying the reasons for things that cannot be done and sincerely explaining that they cannot be done. We are also continuously improving our education system, reward system, and welfare program, and this part has received high praise both internally and externally.

The average turnover rate in the Philippines is 5.8%, but EMTEPH’s turnover rate is low at around 1% due to activities to improve employee satisfaction.

EM Devices group will continue to conduct management that emphasizes dialogue, and aim to be a better company, including welfare programs.
