Impact of Manila closure in the Philippines
On March 12, Philippine President Duterte announced the closure of Manila as a countermeasure for the new coronavirus (COVID-19). Prior to this announcement, we had been shipping at our Philippines factory, so at this time there is no major impact due to this matter.
The Philippine government’s request does not mean that the Manila will be completely locked down, so it does not stop the logistics itself. We will respond appropriately while keeping an eye on the Philippine government’s trends and transportation status.
